PILE EVALUATING CHART, METHOD FOR PREPARING IT AND METHOD FOR EVALUATING PILE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile evaluating chart capable of simply extracting a fragile pile even by a general engineer and capable of easily estimating a pile damaged after the occurrence of an earthquake, a method for preparing the pile evaluating chart and the method for evaluating the pile. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for preparing the pile evaluating chart has a deformation analytic step computing the excess bending moment Me at a time when ground displacement as the function of the thickness H of a surface layer S and the mean N value Na of the surface layer S and a horizontal inertia force are applied and an index computing step computing the damage evaluating index of the pile PL on the basis of the excess bending moment Me computed at the deformation analytic step regarding the pile PL modelled as a linear elastic beam supporting a front end by a supporting layer B. The method for preparing the pile evaluating chart further has an index storage step storing the computed damage evaluating index of the pile PL while being related to the thickness H of the surface layer S and the mean N value Na of the surface layer S regarding the modelled pile PL. The isopleth of the damage evaluating index is formed on a graph using the thickness H of the surface layer S and the mean N value Na of the surface layer S as axes of coordinates on the basis of the damage evaluating index stored at the index storage step.
