PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology improved to cause breakage in a previously set region when an opening and closing cover breaks as a force to open more than an opening position acts on the opening and closing cover, on a sunvisor for a vehicle having the opening and closing cover. SOLUTION: The opening and closing cover is devised free to revolve around a hinge part as its center between a closing position and the opening position and the hinge part is constituted of an inside surface of the opening and closing cover, a projected part 123 projected from the inside surface of the opening and closing cover in its peripheral edge region and an axis of revolution provided at a position separated from the inside surface of the opening and closing cover at the projected part by a prescribed distance on this sunvisor for the vehicle having a sunvisor body and the opening and closing cover 117 mounted on the sunvisor body free to revolve. The opening and closing cover is constituted to break the hinge part when the force to open more than the opening position works on the opening and closing cover. Additionally, the projected part is constituted as a fragile part 131 where an intermediate region between a setting region of the axis of revolution and the inside surface of the opening and closing cover derives breakage.
