An alarm device is provided with: a battery power supply; a sensor unit for outputting an abnormality detection signal when detecting an abnormality; an annunciation unit for outputting an alarm on the basis of the abnormality detection signal; a reception circuit for intermittently receiving an event signal from another alarm device in a predetermined reception cycle; a transmission circuit for transmitting an event signal to the other alarm device for a transmission time period equal to or longer than the predetermined reception cycle; an abnormality monitor for causing the annunciation unit to output the abnormality alarm on the basis of the abnormality detection signal and also causing the transmission circuit to transmit an event signal concerned with the abnormality in the alarm device to the other alarm device when the sensor unit detects the abnormality, while causing the annunciation unit to output the abnormality alarm when the reception circuit receives, from the other alarm device, an event signal concerned with the abnormality in the other alarm device; and a low battery monitor for causing the annunciation unit to output a low battery alarm of the alarm device when detecting voltage drop in the battery power supply and also stopping the transmission/reception of the event signals in the reception circuit and the transmission circuit. |
