<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restart operation of an image forming apparatus soon in response to user's requirement after the operation of the image forming apparatus is stopped because of overheating. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 1, operation of a printing processing part 12 is automatically stopped when temperature inside the image forming apparatus 1 rises because printing processing is performed by the printing processing part 12 and it becomes equal to or above operation stop temperature that is the temperature when overheating. Thereafter, the operation of the printing processing part 12 is automatically restarted when the temperature inside the image forming apparatus 1 falls and it becomes equal to or under operation restart temperature. Furthermore, when the temperature inside the image forming apparatus 1 becomes equal to or under operation permission temperature even before it becomes equal to or under the operation restart temperature, the operation of the printing processing part 12 is restarted according as a user inputs an instruction to restart operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
