<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To join an electrolyte film and a catalyst layer without excessive destruction of a catalyst layer pore structure. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a fuel cell includes:(a) a step of preparing an electrolyte film 210, which has a first glass transition temperature, (b) a step of preparing the catalyst layer 220, which has a second glass transition temperature lower than the first glass transition temperature, (c) a step of carrying out thermocompression bonding of the electrolyte film 210 and the catalyst layer 220 within the temperature range of ±5°C of the second glass transition temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
