<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an edge part of a detected body with accuracy almost equal to a photoelectric detector, without using a photoelectric detector. <P>SOLUTION: A position detection device for an elevator includes: a metallic detected body 1 disposed to a hoistway of a car; and an overcurrent detector 2 disposed to the car and passing through positions facing the detected body 1. In the detecting body, at least two detectors 2a, 2b are disposed to be mutually shifted in an elevating direction of the car. The position detection device further includes: a detection means detecting output values before and after the change in output value of electric connection, when the detectors 2a, 2b pass through the positions facing the detected body 1; a reference setting means setting a reference output value based on an output value of one detector 2a detected in first by the detection means; and a position detection means outputting a position detection signal based on a result of comparison between an output value of the other detector 2b and the reference output value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
