OPENING COVER OF FUEL TANK, ITS FORMING METHOD, AND FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY EQUIPPED WITH THE OPENING COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening cover and its seal member surely preventing fuel leakage from a fuel tank opening to the outside of the fuel tank. SOLUTION: The opening cover for the fuel tank is provided with: a cylindrical opening cover body constructed to clog at least partially the fuel tank opening arranged to penetrate a wall part of the fuel tank; and a seal member formed in the peripheral part of the opening cover body so as to extend and contact with the fuel tank opening under a state the opening cover is attached to the fuel tank opening. At least one first connecting part is arranged in the peripheral part of the opening cover body and at least one second connecting part connected to the first connecting part is arranged in the seal member. The first connecting part is made complementary to the at least one second connecting part arranged in the seal member, and the opening cover body and the seal member are unitedly maintained by engagement of the first connecting part and the second connecting part.
