<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the light use efficiency of the light source of a vehicle headlight. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular headlight 1 includes a bulb 2, and a shielding plate 12 selectively changeable over between a shielding condition of partially shielding a light path from the bulb 2 to the front upper side of a vehicle and a non-shielding condition of not shielding it. Herein, there are provided a lateral reflector 7 for guiding light to the front lateral side of the vehicle and a guide reflector 6 for guiding part of the light from the bulb 2 to the lateral reflector 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
