<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for calculating the correlation of a pair of data rows without coidentity. <P>SOLUTION: In each of a plurality of first data An and An+1 in a first data row An where a plurality of data A1, A2, to An are arranged one-dimensionally and a second data row Bn where a plurality of data B1, B2, to Bn are arranged one-dimensionally, correlation values of the plurality of first data and the plurality of second data are obtained by first arithmetic calculation (An×Bn+1+k-An+1×Bn+k) including a difference of products between the plurality of second data Bn+k and Bn+1+k corresponding to the plurality of first data An and An+1, and second arithmetic calculation (Sqrt(An<SP>2</SP>+An+1<SP>2</SP>)×Sqrt(Bn+K<SP>2</SP>+Bn+1+k<SP>2</SP>)) for normalizing the correlation values by the first arithmetic calculation by the plurality of first data An and An+1 and the plurality of second data Bn+k and Bn+1+k is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
