<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method of waste water containing sulfur-based COD components effectively suppressing the production of hydrogen sulfide without requiring large-scaled apparatus and large-scale apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the treating method, waste water 2 containing sulfur-based COD components is fed to at least one biological reaction tank 1 for biological treatment.
