<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type alarm clock device making it difficult to stop alarm sound and capable of producing fun by attaching a stop unit of an alarm such as a balloon-like stop unit into which helium gas is injected in an alarm clock and by separating the stop unit from a body simultaneously with the start of the alarm to allow it to float in the air. <P>SOLUTION: The stop unit 3 capable of floating by a balloon 2 is connected on the body 1 of the alarm clock. Upon the alarm start time, the alarm sound is generated, and the locking of the stop unit 3 to the body 1 of the alarm clock is released so that the stop unit 3 and a balloon unit float in the air. When a user catches the stop unit 3 floating in the air and presses a stop switch 4, the alarm sound stops.
