PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of guiding within a crowded area of purpose fitting facilities, by displaying clearly in each different mode, a section (circulated section) adjacent to an already-traveled road and an untraveled road (uncirculated section). SOLUTION: This navigation device 100 has: a vehicle passage determination means 36 whether or not a vehicle has traveled along a road adjoined by a purpose fitting facility P retrieved based on a prescribed retrieval condition; a display image plotting means 34 for plotting a display image wherein a display mode of the first area adjoined by a road along which the vehicle has traveled, where the purpose fitting facility P exists is different from a display mode of the second area adjoined by a road along which the vehicle has not traveled, where the purpose fitting facility P exists, based on a determination result; and a display means 37 for displaying a plotted display image on a prescribed display screen.
