PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal for a universal joint capable of maintaining sealing performance even if internal pressure between a seal lip and a dust lip changes and preventing an increase in torque or heat generation. SOLUTION: The seal is used for the universal joint having a spider 2, a cup 3 surrounding the outer periphery of the end of the spider 2 and a bearing 4 provided between the spider 2 and the cup 3. The seal includes a fixture portion 6 fixed to the spider 2, the seal lip 7 formed integrally with the fixture portion 6 so as to slidably make close contact with the cup 3, and the dust lip 8 located on the outer peripheral side of the seal lip 7 and formed integrally with the fixture portion 6 so as to slidably make close contact with the cup 3. A concave or groove-like internal pressure change absorbing part 12 for absorbing a change of the internal pressure between both the lips 7, 8 when the internal pressure changes, is arranged at the bottom portion between both the lips 7, 8.
