<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a post-deformed analytical model from an existing analytical model, and to prepare also a CAD data (shape model data) of a post-deformed model, in order to reduce a working burden as to preparation of a shape model and the analytical model. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A shape model preparation device has a reading means 104 for reading an objective shape model serving as a deformation object and an objective analytical model, a means 106 for registering a correlation between the shape element of the objective shape model and a node of the objective analytical model, as a correlation data, a means 108 for preparing the post-deformed objective analytical model by deforming the objective analytical model, and a means 110 for extracting the shape element where the coordinates of the node of the post-deformed objective analytical model related to the shape element of the objective shape model extracted from the correlation data are not located on coordinates of the shape elements of the objective shape model, for conducting shape fitting processing to match the extracted shape element with the node, and for preparing the post-deformed objective shape model from the post-deformed objective analytical model.
