<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a wire-wound coil component capable of obtaining large inductance although the wire-wound coil component is thin. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The coil component includes a plate-like core 34 and a pair of conductors 14, 16. The plate-like core 34 is composed by connecting three core members 32a, 32b, 32c where through-holes 36a, 36b, 36c are formed; a first winding section 37, a second winding section 38, a third winding section 39, and a fourth winding section 40 arranged in parallel while sandwiching the plurality of through-holes 36a, 36b, 36c are formed; and the conductors 14, 16 are passed through the plurality of through-holes 36a, 36b, 36c, thus winding the front and rear of adjacent winding sections (the first winding section 37 and second winding section 38, the second winding section 38 and third winding section 39, and the third winding section 39 and fourth winding section 40) in parallel alternately.
