PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aging-deterioration detecting method for detecting a deteriorated state of a power supply circuit independently from load variations of a post-stage circuit, and a power supply device having a function for detecting aging deterioration. SOLUTION: The power supply device is provided with a control circuit 9, which detects aging deterioration of a power supply circuit 20 by measuring start-up time of a power supply voltage, and a warning device 10 which warns that the power supply circuit is in a deteriorated state when the power supply circuit deteriorates. The aging-deterioration detecting method for the power supply circuit 20 includes a step of measuring the start-up time of the power supply voltage, and a step of detecting aging deterioration of the power supply circuit 20 by the measured start-up time.
