摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monopropellant thruster capable of preventing local deterioration of a catalyst, enhancing responsiveness by shortening a time till thrust becomes zero after closing of a propellant valve and reducing or eliminating the occurrence of deflagration (spike) caused by stagnation of a propellant. SOLUTION: The monopropellant thruster comprises the propellant valve 12 supplying/blocking a single liquid propellant 1, a hollow thrust chamber 14 having inside a catalyst layer 15 comprising catalyst particles, and a hollow ultrafine tube 16 extending from an outlet of the propellant valve to the catalyst layer. The monopropellant thruster further has a dispensing member 20 which surrounds a nozzle of the ultrafine tube 16 opening toward the catalyst layer and supplies the liquid propellant 1 supplied from the ultrafine tube 16 to the catalyst layer while dispensing it inside. The dispensing member 20 is formed of a plurality of nets having openings smaller than the maximum diameter of the nozzle and meshes of each net are situated to be alternately staggered with respect to the nozzle.
