<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, efficiently supplying mist to a photoreceptor to obtain a required print quality, and preventing increase in size of the whole apparatus to reduce the cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Mist of water based ink is charged by a corona charging device 3, and alternating bias is applied to a developing electrode 5.
