PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize the structure of a head rest even when the head rest for supporting the back of the head of an occupant by operating an inflator when rear end collision occurs on a vehicle is provided. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat is provided with: a seat cushion; a seat back 2; and the head rest 3, and when the rear end collision is generated on the vehicle, lock releasing of a lock mechanism R provided on the head rest is performed by operating the inflator. By the locking releasing, a portion 24 for supporting at least the back of the head of the occupant of the head rest 3 is popped out toward the back of the head side of the occupant. The head rest 3 is assembled to the seat back 2 through a stay 22, and a body 52 of the inflator 50 is assembled to an end part at the seat back 2 side of both end parts of the stay 22.
