In rotary printing machines having movable, moved, or rotating machine elements, preferably lightweight design is to be used to improve the machine. For this reason, active elements, such as piezo fibers or adaptronic elements, are provided at least partially on or in conjunction with the machine elements. Said elements can be activated during operation of the machine at defined times. In order to improve the machine functions, according to the invention a receiver module is disposed on a moved or rotating component for receiving contactless transmitted energy. The module is associated with circuits and energy accumulators, wherein the energy accumulators can be charged longer than energy is removed. A trigger circuit controls the output of energy to the active or adaptronic elements of the lightweight element. A transmission unit for contactless energy transmission is disposed outside the moved or rotating component in the printing machine.
