<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post processing device capable of producing a high quality booklet having no displacement of the punched holes of the case-bound booklet, and an image forming system equipped with the post processing device. <P>SOLUTION: The post processing device comprises an applying part for applying an adhesive to a bundle of sheets, a pressing part for pressing a front cover to the bundle of sheets or the bundle of sheets to the front cover, a punching part for boring punched holes, a conveying part for conveying the sheet or the front cover, and a control part for controlling the pressing part, the applying part, the pressing part, the punching part, and the conveying part. The control part punches the paper sheet with the punching part, applies an adhesive to the bundle of a plurality of punched sheets with the applying part, performs the first punching on the front cover by the punching part, afterward, conveys the front cover to the conveying part by a predetermined distance, afterward, performs the second punching on the front cover by the punching part, and presses the punched front cover to the bundle of sheets where the adhesive is applied by the pressing part to attach. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
