PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision of correction with respect to a correction value calculation device, and to provide a correction value calculation method. SOLUTION: The correction value calculation device includes: a correction pattern forming part for forming a correction pattern in a yellow color to a medium; a correction pattern read part for acquiring color information in blue by reading the correction pattern; and a correction value calculation part for calculating the correction value of the density of the yellow color on the basis of the color information of the blue.
