PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression-molded solid powder cosmetic which contains an elastic powder, has a good impact resistance without impairing sense of use or usability, and has reduced solid catalyst activity. SOLUTION: The compression-molded solid powder cosmetic comprises an elastic powder, a liquid oil, and a pulverized polyethylene terephthalate powder having an average particle diameter of 1-30μm. The compounded amount of the elastic powder is 0.5-7 mass%; that of the liquid oil is 2-15 mass%; and that of the pulverized polyethylene terephthalate powder is 20-75 mass%. Preferably, the elastic powder has a hardness by JIS K 6301 spring-type hardness test of 30-50 and an average particle diameter of 3-35μm. Preferably, a solid oil powder in an amount of 0.05-1 mass% is blended into the compression-molded solid powder cosmetic. Preferably, the solid oil powder has an average particle diameter of 0.05-20μm and a melting point of 85-125°C. A metal oxide powder may be blended into the compression-molded solid powder cosmetic, wherein the metal oxide is preferably a surface-treated metal oxide powder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
