PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability when obtaining multi-band image data by performing photographing twice or more while switching a spectral transmission characteristic of an optical filter. SOLUTION: The filter switching device 200 includes a filter 206A having a predetermined spectral transmission characteristic, and a filter 206B, having a spectral transmission characteristic differed therefrom. Either the filter 206A and 206B, or an aperture 206D can be located on a photographing optical path of the photographing lens 220, according to a signal from the camera 230. The filter-switching device 200 outputs filter spectral transmission characteristic information, corresponding to the filter or aperture, located on the photographing optical path to the camera 230. The camera 200 performs photographing, twice or more on the same subject, while the spectral transmission characteristics of a filter part 206 are switched, and creates multi-band image data, from image data of three bands obtained by the respective photographing and the spectral transmission characteristic information.
