<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular composition which is quickly soluble in a hydrocarbon solvent and improves thermal stability of thermoplastic polymers. <P>SOLUTION: The granular composition contains an organic compound having a melting point of 30-100°C and a compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-8C alkyl group or a 5-8C cycloalkyl group and R<SP>3</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a 1-8C alkyl group; and X is a single bond, a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom, a 1-8C alkylidene group or a 5-8C cycloalkylidene group).
