<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control apparatus which can immediately detect the fact that the communication charge has reached an upper limit amount, and can shorten the time from detection to disconnection of the communication line. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An MSC 10 for requesting interruption of communication based on the upper limit of total amount of communication charge set in a portable telephone 1 comprises a remaining available amount inquiry section 110 for acquiring a remaining available amount by deducing the total amount of communication charge from the upper limit, a remaining available amount notification/reception section 120, a communication start section 100 for detecting start of communication of the portable telephone 1, an available amount calculation section 130 for calculating the communication charge of the portable telephone 1 during execution of communication after start of communication is detected, an available amount exceed detection section 140 for comparing a calculated charge with the remaining available amount, and a call disconnection section 150 for requesting the portable telephone 1 to disconnect the communication line if a difference between the charge and the available amount goes below a predetermined value as a result of comparison.
