PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement interaction with a user from any parts inside of the server process logic in a three-layer client server system. SOLUTION: A client process 4 of a client 1 stores a process request in a message queue 6 of a server 2 through a network 3. A server process 5 acquires the process request stored in the message queue 6, and starts the process. If interaction with the client 1 is needed during execution of the process, the server process 5 stores a reply request in the message queue 6, and a client process 4 acquires the reply request. The client process 4 stores a reply request result which a user has input in the message queue 6. A server process 5 resumes the process based on the reply request result, and when the process has completed, stores the process request result in the message queue 6.
