PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use structure for fixing a base plate and an anchor bolt for an exposed-type column base which can be effectively applied to an exposed-type column base structure in such a form as to absorb vibrational energy not only in a pulling direction but also in a compression direction by the anchor bolt, and can accurately and stably prevent a nut from being loosened by bidirectional vibration. SOLUTION: In this structure for fixing the base plate and the anchor bolt, the nuts 8 and 9 are screwed to the anchor bolts 4 inserted through a plurality of bolt insertion holes 5 provided in the base plate 1 from above and below the base plate 1, after washers 6 and 7 are sandwiched in the state of opening a recess larger than bolt insertion holes 5 formed in the washers 6 and 7 to the side of contact with the base plate 1, and the base plate 1 is fixed by being fastened with the screwed nuts. Grout materials with expansion properties are filled into the recesses formed in the washers 6 and 7 and a gap between the anchor bolt 4 and the bolt insertion hole 5, and solidified so that the base plate and the anchor bolt can be firmly fixed to each other.
