<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Japanese-style confectionery having new taste and also good for health. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The Japanese-style confectionery A1 has: dough 10 containing glutinous rice flour, a sweetener and ajime pepper, and having a weight ratio of the ajime pepper to the total weight of the glutinous rice flour, the sweetener, and the ajime pepper of 1 to 5%, and bean jam 20 wrapped with the dough 10. The bean jam 20 has a main bean jam material of Azuki bean or white Azuki bean, and a sweetener. The content of the sweetener in the whole of the bean jam is at a weight ratio of 50-65%.
