<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head which can perform control of a floating position of a head element for recording and reproducing with superior responsiveness, and to provide a manufacturing method of the magnetic head and a magnetic recording device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The magnetic recording device has a magnetic head 10 which is loaded on a magnetic disk 3. The magnetic head 10 has a slider 11 attached to a suspension 6, wherein the head element 12 is carried in a component face 11A which is a tip face of the slider 11, and a laminated piezoelectric element 41 is attached above the head element 12. The laminated piezoelectric element 41 is arranged corresponding to an area including a loading position of the head element 12, and if voltage is impressed, it is expanded or contracted by a lateral and vertical piezoelectric effect or a vertical piezoelectric effect, and displaces the head element 12 toward the magnetic disk 3.
