<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main frame of a backhoe capable of accurately producing accuracy of parallelism of the rotational axis of a swing bracket and the rotational axis of a swing cylinder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This main frame of the backhoe 1 is detachably connected to a rear part of a tractor, and has a swing support part 44 for rotatably supporting the swing bracket 3 for installing an excavation work device 5 around the axis X in the vertical direction, and a cylinder support part 52 for rotatably supporting the swing cylinder 4 for laterally rocking the swing bracket 3 around the axis Z in the vertical direction.
