<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively lubricate a seal section without increasing the number of part items, and to restrain excessive recirculation of a lubricating agent at the seal section into a compressor from the seal section by a simple structure. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A shaft sealing chamber 60 is defined by an inner wall surface of a housing 8, the seal section 36, a bearing section 37 and a side face of a drive shaft 33 of the compressor 1. The shaft seal chamber 60 and a crank chamber 32 are communicated via a communicating path 61, to constitute a lubricating agent circulating path in which the lubricating agent returns to the crank chamber 32 via the bearing section 37 from the shaft sealing chamber 60 after moving up to the shaft sealing chamber 60 from the crank chamber 32, and an opening on the shaft sealing chamber 60 side of the communicating path 61 is run along a sliding surface 57 of the seal section 36 from the crank chamber 32, and is positioned closer on the tip side of the drive shaft 33 than a reference line X when adopting the straight line-shaped reference line X extending toward the outside of the drive shaft 33.
