<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission method by a pulse radar, capable of detecting the presence of a target and transmitting information, at the same time, using a simple configuration which is attainable at low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Information is put on a pulse sequence transmitted from the pulse radar, without influencing the original operation of the pulse radar by minutely changing the pulse position, i.e., the pulse interval compared with the case of a conventional pulse radar that does not transmit information. For instance, information is transmitted by a method of outputting pulse waves of a predetermined repetition cycle T, when the input signal is "0" but outputting the pulse waves, at pulse intervals which are longer by a minute time t<SB>d</SB>, as compared with the repetition cycle, when the input signal is "1".
