<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slope vegetation and protection construction by which planting of plants is facilitated, growth of the plants is promoted, and a difference in exuberance of the plants in respective planting holes is reduced. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The planting holes are formed in the surface of the slope protection construction by laying and arranging protection blocks, and the spaces above the adjacent planting holes are communicated with each other by a channel formed in the protection construction surface. Thus, stems and roots of the planted plants extend in the channel and reach another planting hole, where the plants grow. Growth of the plants is thereby promoted and the problem is solved.
