The present invention relates to a thermo-cutting hair removal device. The thermo-cutting hair removal device of the present invention for removing body hair through the use of heat generated from a hot wire, includes: an automatic switching unit for generating a hair removing signal when a friction roller rotates in contact with the skin of a user; a signal amplifying unit for amplifying the hair removing signal generated from the automatic switching unit into a recognizable level; a signal determining unit for determining whether the signal amplified by the signal amplifying unit is a hair removing signal; a hair removing unit for removing body hair with the hot wire passing through the teeth of a comb; a positioning unit for contacting the hair removing unit tightly to the skin of the user; a power supply unit for supplying power to each unit; and an operation switching unit for supplying power to the hair removing unit and the positioning unit by switching in accordance with the signal applied from the signal judging unit. The hair removal device of the present invention is capable of removing body hair without causing pain to or damaging the skin of the user, thus improving operating stability and preventing unpleasantness. Further, the hair removal device of the present invention allows for ease of use by eliminating the necessity of operating switches. Further, the hair removal device of the present invention prevents the hot wire from being worn out or broken even over long periods of use by supplying power to the hot wire only during a hair removing operation. Further, the hair removal device of the present invention prevents unnecessary consumption of power by supplying power to the hot wire only during a hair removing operation. |
