PURPOSE: A flow rate controlling vane pump is provided to reduce discharged flow rate by draining fluid through a gap between the inner circumference of a fluid chamber and the outer end of a rotor in the high speed of a rotor. CONSTITUTION: A flow rate controlling vane pump comprises a housing(10), a rotary shaft, a rotor(14), a plurality of vanes(16). The housing has a fluid chamber(10a) for sucking and discharging working fluid. The rotary shaft rotates in the fluid chamber with drive force provided from the outside. The rotor is rotated by operating with a rotary shaft. The rotor has a plurality of receiving parts(14a) opened in the radial direction. A plurality of vanes are installed inside the receiving part in order to be drawn out or be inserted. The receiving part has an incline on a rear wall based on the rotational direction of the rotor. The cross section of the incline is expanded toward the outside based on the axial center of the rotor. The vane is inclined in the receiving part toward the incline.
