PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk not deteriorating its signal property even if its reflection film thickness changes.
SOLUTION: A master disk before exposure is produced by forming a heat storage layer thinner than 17% of the recording laser wavelength on a master disk base plate, and forming an inorganic resist layer further on it. Next, the inorganic resist layer of the master disk is irradiated with the recording laser beam to perform exposure of a recording signal pattern of pits and spaces, and the master disk having the pit line of pits and spaces is obtained by developing the disk after this exposure. Then, a stamper having a transferred pit line shape is manufactured by using the master disk having the formed pit line. Thus, by transferring the pit line of the stamper, an optical disk which has a predetermined layer structure including the recording layer having a reflection film made of silver or a silver alloy on the pit line is manufactured. In this optical disk (Fig.2 (b)), the depth of long pit is 20% or less of the incoming light wavelength (λ/n) and its depth difference with the shortest pit is 1/30 or less of the incoming light wavelength.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
