<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a department management of an image forming apparatus by managing the utilization of sheet for each group of a paper feed storage unit by associating with the department a user belongs to by grouping the paper feed storage unit in an image forming apparatus having a plurality of paper feed storage units. <P>SOLUTION: The department group management part of the image forming apparatus can perform the department management by dividing the plurality of paper feed storage units for each group to set, registering by associating with the department the user belongs to for each group, and allowing only utilization receiving the paper feed from the paper feed storage unit in association with each department the user belongs to. A printing output sheet is prevented from being mixed between users of different departments by grouping a paper discharge tray.
