PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide use of a pharmaceutical composition of a specific cyclic amino derivative or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt for the treatment or prevention of heart failures due to some causes of diseases. SOLUTION: Use of cilobradine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt for the treatment or prevention of heart failures due to some causes of diseases is provided, and a method for the treatment or prevention of heart failures due to some causes of diseases by the administration of cilobradine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt together with a pharmaceutically suitable carrier to a patient requiring administration of the pharmaceutical composition is provided.
