<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operating sound normally by a simple configuration without using an electric power steering device, prevent an operation torque during continuous operation from being lowered by suppressing the heating of an electric motor, and surely unlock in the stationary swing. <P>SOLUTION: This electric steering lock device comprises detection means 16a, 16b for detecting the unlock of steering and a power supply control means 36 for controlling the drive power supply of the electric motor 10. The power supply control means 36 controls the drive power source of the electric motor 10 to a first voltage lower than the maximum supply voltage of a vehicle power supply when the steering is unlocked, and controls the drive power supply of the electric motor 10 to a second voltage higher than the first voltage when the unlock detection means do not detect unlock even if the drive power supply is controlled to the first voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
