PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-reliability magnet-embedded rotor which can visually recognize a permanent magnet in a magnet embedded type rotor unit and can easily determine whether the magnet embedded type rotor is a normal article or a defective article. SOLUTION: A magnet embedded rotor comprises a laminated iron core 1, a permanent magnet 5 embedded in a permanent magnet insertion hole 4 provided in the laminated iron core 1, and a blocking portion 6, consisting of a nonmagnetic substance and fixing the permanent magnet 5, by filling the permanent magnet insertion hole 4 in which the permanent magnet 5 is embedded, wherein peep openings 7 for visually recognizing the permanent magnet 5 are provided in the blocking portion 6.
