PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial and antifungal agent excellent in both antibacterial and antifungal characteristics, and good in durability and processability in addition. SOLUTION: The antibacterial and antifungal agent includes a Co-Ag-Co three nuclei complex represented by formula (1) where n is an integer of 1-3, R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>12</SP>are similarly or differently Hs or 1-6C alkyl groups, a group of R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>3</SP>bound to N, a group of R<SP>4</SP>-R<SP>6</SP>, a group of R<SP>7</SP>-R<SP>9</SP>, or a group of R<SP>10</SP>-R<SP>12</SP>may be cross-linked to any other group, and R<SP>13</SP>is H or a 1-6C alkyl group.
