HYBRID ACTIVE POWER FILTER

PURPOSE: A hybrid active power filter is provided to minimize the power loss by arranging a passive filter without a resistor between a power supply and a nonlinear load. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid active power filter includes a low pass filter(130) and an active filter(140). The low pass filter is arranged between a power supply(110) and a nonlinear load(120). The low pass filter includes an inductor, a node, and a capacitor. The inductor is connected between the power supply and the nonlinear load. The node is positioned between the inductor and the nonlinear load. The capacitor is connected to the node. The active filter is connected to the low pass filter. The active filter provides a resonance suppression loop generated by the low pass filter.
