The component (30) has a fiber composite semi-finished product (42) which is formed such that the semi-finished product forms a front wall of a vehicle cabin and a cross beam above the front wall. The product has reinforcement fibers i.e. endless fibers or fabrics, made of glass, carbon or aramide. A reinforcement structure made of plastic is molded to the product. An air duct (40), an accommodation chamber for front seat passenger airbag and a mounting plate (52) for steering column (50) are molded to the product. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an integrated composite component.
