PURPOSE: An automatic brake system of a highly movable worktable is provided to prevent collision between the highly movable worktable and a structure when horizontally moving. CONSTITUTION: An automatic brake system of a highly movable worktable comprises a sensor attachment piece(420), an obstacle sensor(430), a controller(500), a braking motor, a rack gear, a hydraulic cylinder for braking, and a disc pad. The sensor attachment piece is installed at a handrail(410) of a worktable(400). The obstacle sensor is attached to the tip of the sensor attachment piece. The controller receives a sensing signal of the obstacle sensor, compares with a critical value established in advance and sends a braking signal once the signal exceeding a critical value is received. The braking motor rotates according to the braking signal of the controller. The rack gear is connected to a pinion gear of the braking motor and rectilinearly moves. The hydraulic cylinder for braking is connected to the one end of the rack gear. The disc pad controls a caster(210) with the fluid pressure generated by pressing the hydraulic cylinder for braking with the rack gear. |
