The drainage device 2, for use between individual paving stones, cobbles or paving flags, comprises a system to allow liquid to pass through from inlet to outlet ends, wherein the device has a height Z and the inlet has a width Y and a length X, wherein Z >=Y. The device preferably comprises a number of channels 5 extending between the inlet and outlet ends and may be formed from a plastics material. The body of the device may be wedge shaped to help retain the device in the ground. The device may be formed from a geo-textile. Also claimed is a drainage system, a method for the installation of a drainage system, a drainage kit for use on a ground surface and a paving unit. |
