PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing a discount coupon to a foreign tourist card and a recording medium therefor are provided to make a foreign tourist use a public transportation for free during tour. CONSTITUTION: A server checks a plurality of discount coupon information(600). The server transmits a web page to a terminal(605). The web page includes a discount coupon selection interface. The terminal checks input of discount coupon selection information through the discount coupon selection interface(610). The server receives the inputted discount coupon selection information. The server confirms approval of card issuance about a foreign tourist object card(625). The server stores a discount coupon corresponding to the discount coupon selection information in a chip memory of the foreign tourist object card(635).
