The apparatus has a transport conveyor section (6) connected to a transport conveyor section (4) such that the transport conveyor section (6) articulates relative to the transport conveyor section (4). A conveyor belt is extended around the transport conveyor sections. A pivoting mechanism is connected to the transport conveyor sections, where the pivoting mechanism includes a cam mechanism that comprises a control cam connected to the transport conveyor section (6). A coupling element interacts with the control cam and is connected to the transport conveyor section (4).
