<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference apparatus, a program, and a method whereby how image data transmitted from its own apparatus are really displayed on an apparatus of an opposite party can be grasped. <P>SOLUTION: The video conference apparatus disclosed herein is a video conference apparatus for making a video conference with a video conference apparatus of an opposite party via a network, and includes: an imaging means for imaging a user; an image coding means for coding image data of the user imaged by the imaging means; an image transmission means for transmitting image data after coding as first coded image data to the video conference apparatus of the opposite party; an image reception means for receiving second coded image data from the video conference apparatus of the opposite party; an image decoding means for decoding the first and second coded image data to produce first and second decoded image data; and a display means for displaying the first and second decoded image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
