<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency of cooled fluid and to prevent carryover of sprayed water, in a closed cooling device for cooling the cooled fluid by the distributed air and the sprayed water while being blocked from the atmospheric air by allowing the cooled fluid to pass through a coil pipe for heat exchange. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The water is sprayed to a cooling coil section 2 from a water spraying tank 21 disposed at an upper section, a blower 20b is disposed at an upper part of the cooling coil section 2, and the intake outside airflow is passed from an outer peripheral section of a multilayered body of the cooling coil section 2 toward an inner peripheral section. The cooling coil section 2 is formed into the multilayered body of a spiral coil tube 24 of which a winding diameter is expanded toward an upper part. An eliminator 40 is disposed at a winding inner peripheral side of the cooling coil section 2, and a thickness of the eliminator 40 is gradually increased toward the upper part.
